Senior journalist N. Ram and economist Abusaleh Shariff honoured with Quaide Milleth award

Throughout his illustrious career, Ram has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to holding power to account and championing the principles of democracy.

Abusaleh Shariff, renowned for his pivotal role in the preparation of the Sachar Committee report and his multifaceted contributions within various governmental capacities, has been acknowledged for his tireless efforts to address socioeconomic disparities and advocate for the rights of marginalized communities.
